“The past does not die, child. It lingers, waiting to be acknowledged.”

Dumak

ᜇᜓᜋᜃ᜔

Kapre Historian. Keeper of Memory.

Dumak is the embodiment of patience, wisdom, and quiet strength. A kapre historian from the towering rainforests of Palantuk, he carries the burden of memory, preserving Kalintara's stories through oral tradition and the reading of sacred glyphs. He speaks with purpose, wasting no words, and though he can seem stern or aloof, those who know him find a warm and protective nature beneath the imposing exterior. Centuries spent deciphering the glyphs of a long-past upheaval — broken pacts, fallen diwata, a rift between realms — have left him uneasy: the patterns suggest history is on the verge of repeating itself. He joins Inabel and Ka'el not out of duty, but because he senses the weave of fate tightening, and knows the knowledge he guards may be the key to what comes next.
